Late last night my cousin Patrick was killed in a car accident. He’s survived by his parents and his young son.

I find myself needing to get home tonight so I can drive out to Cleveland with my mother to pick up my Grandparents, and then down to North Carolina. I anticipate being gone through the weekend.

If I needed to do something for you, or get something to you, please let me know. I’ll take care of it the best I can.

The show’s up and it looks fantastic, if I do say so myself. If you’re around, you should come see it tonight (it’s the last night) but if you’re not, I suppose I can forgive you.

Without further ado: my hard work realized

It’s very surreal to see what I drew on paper and then made in 1/4″ form come to life full-sized. It’s rewarding, though. I might just do this again someday. As long as I don’t have to be my own TD/MC.

My first scenic design model is done. It’s a relief, definately. There’s room for improvement, but I’m pretty proud of it. The show’s Oedipus Rex, the style is classical, but not your usual white stone and clean lines. It’s neglected and overgrown. (I figured the Thebians have been a little too distracted to trim bushes etc for a while.)
